An opportunity has arisen within a Manufacturing Company for an Occupational Hygienist.
The package includes a negotiable salary of between £20,000 and £25,000 depending on experience and qualifications, canteen facilities, pension, free car parking and holiday entitlement of 20 days increasing by 1 day per year to 25 and 8 bank holidays
The main duties will be to carry out monitoring of workplace air, noise, local exhaust ventilation and vibration within Industrial Operations. Monitoring is carried out mainly within the cast metals sector but is increasing within other industrial sectors. You will be fully familiar with reporting methods. It is expected that there will be overnight stays on occasion around the UK.
The ideal Candidate will possess Certificates of Competance in Occupation Hygiene Modules 101 to 104 and be experienced within these fields. A self motivated, enthusiastic individual with excellent interpersonal skills would be perfect. A full UK driving license is necesary as a vehicle is provided.
